The Finnells In Business HARRIETT ELIZABETH fennell; b.1846; m. William Henry Thomson; lived in Decatur, GA. HORACE TODD fennell; d.um. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN fennell; m. to Mary A http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Pointe/3917/issue13.html
Extractions: Now What Do We Do We have in past issues of Loose Branches and Roots listed a ELIJAH FINNELL (b.1805/06, Garrard Co, KY; d.10 Feb 1890 and buried in Armstrong Old Chapel Cemetery, Mt Airy, MO) with three different Parents. On page 15-17 of the Combined Issue (#1-4) we list Elijah as the son of JAMES FINNELL; b.c1775, VA; d. after 1840 Chariton Co, MO; married in 1798 in Garrard Co, KY to Sabra Hubbard. Second on page 15 of Issue #7 we listed Elijah as the son of JOHN C. FINNELL; b.1794, Madison Co, KY; d.7 Jan 1856, buried in the old Finnell Cemetery near Roanoke, MO with three small sons; m. 1820 to Mary King, she d.1860 in Macon Co, MO. Third on page 15 Issue #10 is listed Elijah as the son of JOHN FINNELL; b.1796, KY; m. 1818 in Garrard Co, KY to Polly Albaugh Both the JOHN FINNELLS appear to be too young to be the Father of this Elijah as both appear to be born in the mid 1790's. Both men also appear to have married between 1818/20 several years after the estimated birth of Elijah. They appear to not be the parents of this Elijah. It does appear that all three Families appeared in Garrard County, KY and later settled in the Chariton County MO area, helping to create some more confusion. The best possibility is that Elijah is the son of JAMES FINNELL and Sabra Hubbard. It will be important to document and compile all the evidence we can find to prove this connection. The search will go on.

Extractions: The Weblog of Tim Fennell, creator and lead developer of Stripes Stripes 1.4.1 Releas... Main Fri 10 Nov 2006 Posted by tfenne under Java [10] Comments Stripes 1.4.2 has been released. The release contains minor bug fixes and improvements, is fully backwards compatible and is a recommended upgrade for all users. The announcement and list of changes can be found in the News section of the Stripes website. Comments: I love this framework! I was just starting to dive into Ruby on Rails for my latest project when I stumbled upon Stripes. I read all the hype about how elegant the Ruby language was, but that certainly wasn't my experience. The database features in RoR were great, no need to mess with gobs of xml config files, but I didn't like the programming environment. Ruby seemed akward to me as a Java developer, and the lack of development and debugging tools was a big turnoff. I have Stripes up and running with Stripernate and I love it. Thanks for the great work on this. . .when can we expect your first Stripes book? Posted by Todd McGregor on November 29, 2006 at 04:18 PM EST

KGW graphic Todd Fennell of Beaverton can't stand junk mail. He says he and his wife get about four pieces a day. From credit card offers to coupons for pizza toppings, the junk mail continues to pour in. "Everybody's so busy anyway and it's just one thing you have to deal with and I don't want to see it. I really don't," said Fennell. He doesn't read most of it. Fennell collected junk mail for three months and was able to fill a brown grocery bag with unwanted flyers and offers. He's fed up with pre-approved credit card offers that come with his name and address on them. var jsVideoWidgetSize = 1; var jsVideoWidgetVideoId = 144187;
