(RECORDS THROUGH June 10, 2004) This has been prepared to assist you in your genealogical research. No guarantees are made for its total accuracy. Names without dates were those listed by City Hall as being buried in this cemetery, but I didn't find stones to match. More may be discovered as time goes by. If so, an updated version will be posted later. Our thanks to the City for making their list available and Dale, the Sexton for his help. Extractions: DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM TOULMIN OF CHARD IN SOMERSET Return to Home Page The initial source for this family was Burke's "Landed Gentry", 1939 edition (Toulmin formerly of Childwickbury and Toulmin formerly of Hackney), but a great deal of information and many individuals have been added, from sources specified in the notes. Unacknowledged information is probably from Burke. Where Burke states "with other issue", or "had issue" with no name, and I have no further information, I have added a reference followed by "?", as at *1321551. Burke's black dots "to indicate the names of living members of families" have been rendered as "alive in 1939", where I have no date of death (or "alive in 1952" if so indicated in the later edition). * . . . . Now known as West Lavington, 9 km S of Devizes (81 km from Chard).
