Extractions: [Up] THE ANTILS: ISABEL(5) ca 1802-1871 Isabel was born in Fayette Co., PA, one of eight daughters of Edward and Mary Wilson. At the about the age of about 17, Isabel married John Antil, a neighbor and recent widower, who was 40 years older than Isabel. He was the son of John and Blanche Antil. John fathered nine children by Isabel, the last when he was in his late 70s. John and Isabel are found in the 1850 Census living in Green Co., PA. Most of the Antil sons stayed in this Pennsylvania area, but at least three of the known daughters moved on to Illinois. One daughter, Eliza, married to Alfred B. Copeland and founded a large Copland branch within this family. John Antil appears to have died in the 1850s, well into his 80s. Isabel lived to 1871, dying at age 69 in Greene Co., PA CENSUS 1830 PA: Greene Co, 1850 PA: Greene Co: Perry twp: page 210
