Extractions: By W. D. Floyd To get to this cemetery Highway I-26 take the Saluda, NC exit and go toward Saluda to the first road to the left. This will only be a few hundred feet. The road is Old Howard Gap Road go to the first hard turn to the right with a road turning left in the turn and turn left. This is just few hundred feet down the hill. After you make the left turn just follow the road and it goes to the church/cemetery. I was there April 7, 2000 and I started the audit in the far eastern end of the cemetery and worked my way to the west and when this part was finished I went behind the church and then to the west of the church. This cemetery has about 100 to 200 graves that are marked with fieldstones, concrete blocks and other items. I was able to read a few of the fieldstones that were engraved and with enough time there may be a few more that could be read.
