Vic: The group formed when Harvey Zook left his four track in my momâs basement. Before then we were just intoxicated poets, ad libbing to instrumental hip hop grooves. My Brother and I would record music for our friends to rap over. We lived next to the public high school and attracted a lot of kids. The group stayed underground, literally, until Donny Osborne approached us with the idea of a live performing band. I never intended to form a band but we did and played house parties and such. Weâve been in and out of members, as well as sounds and arrangements, ever since, the only two consistent members being me and my brother.
