Extractions: I am looking for the location (County) in Kentucky where my Great-Great-Grandfather came from. He is listed on the 1860 census from Hunt County, Texas as John McCarty. It shows he was born in Kentucky, probably between 1834 and 1837. I believe his full name was John D. McCarty, the middle initial stands for David. He later moved to Henderson County, Texas. I would appreciate any help I can get, thanks for taking the time to read this. Thank You, Terrell Nelson
