Extractions: You may be wondering what my credentials are so I thought I would start by plotting my history in ice hockey. Introduced I was well and truly hooked and became a regular attendee. I have been an avid follower of every incarnation of Newcastle team since; the Riverkings, the Jesters and now the Vipers, being both a season ticket holder, and at one time, a regular away traveller. Constrained Now with a one year old daughter, who incidentally slept through her first game at the Arena at eight days old, I am constrained to weekend and alternate mid-week home games (as I share the babysitting with my husband who is also mad about the sport). We are very lucky that the little one seems to share our love of the game, clapping and shouting along with the crowd (if only we knew what she says).
