Depth Chart Basically ... The Bulldog defense was fantastic against the pass and average against the run. It helped that it went against almost no one that could throw, but it was still a good pass defense and should be strong again with three returning starters. The linebackers aren't that big, but they're experienced. The line will be fine as long as big tackles Louis Leonard and Jason Shirley can come through. It would be nice if there was a steadier pass rush outside of Garrett McIntyre. Fresno State Returning Leaders

Extractions: The Thundering Herd is American folklore ... as old as the buffalo that roam the western plains. The Herd once provided nearly every substance needed for human survival, including food, clothing, tools and weapons. The Herd still provides Marshall University's athletic teams with their nickname. "Thundering Herd" has long been recognized by sports enthusiasts as one of the great, distinctive nicknames in college athletics. But on several occasions throughout Marshall's history other nicknames have been suggested and, on occasion, been hung on the school. The first nickname of record is Indians, a moniker bestowed upon the pre-1900 athletic teams. By about 1910, sparked by the color of team uniforms, Big Green began to be used in reference to Marshall athletics. Football Lineup - NFC Preview! RB marshall Faulk (2001) A jury deliberated less than two hours before ruling in DL leonard Little - (2004) The Missouri Supreme Court denied leonard http://www.glennbeck.com/news/01132005.shtml
Extractions: Football Lineup - NFC Preview! JANUARY 13, 2005 Colts at Patriots Jets at Steelers Vikings at Eagles Rams at Falcons Today we take a look at the NFC. Each team receives one point for every player on their roster that has been accused of or found guilty of a crime or other offense which lead to a police investigation. Rams at Falcons The Rams take on the Falcons in what looks to be a low scoring game. With only one player who's name turned up in our criminal search the Falcons look to be overmatched. We're going with St Louis to upset the Atlanta at home. St Louis Rams - 4 Atlanta Falcons - 1 RB Marshall Faulk - (2001) A jury deliberated less than two hours before ruling in favor Marshall Faulk in a civil case accusing him of domestic abuse. The jury ruled against Faulk's former girlfriend, who also is the mother of three of his children. Faulk was awarded $125, even though he had sought only $1 in symbolic damages. Helen Dunne accused Faulk of beating her, but the jury rejected those claims and found in favor of the player's accusation that Dunne had abused the legal process by suing him. DL Leonard Little - (2004) The Missouri Supreme Court denied Leonard Little's bad law defense of the felony drunk driving case against him. Little's attorneys James Bennett and K. Lee Marshall asked the high court to throw out the felony indictment on the grounds that the law authorizing the charge is unconstitutional. Specifically, the lawyers asked the Supreme Court to order Judge Emmett M. O'Brien to dismiss the county's case against their client. Without comment, Supreme Court judges rejected the plea,Little pleaded guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a drunk-driving accident downtown that took the life of Susan Gutweiler six years ago. Ladue police stopped the defendant April 26. Police alleged he smelled of alcohol, failed sobriety tests and admitted he had been drinking. He was charged with drunk driving.
